The Ashland Volunteer Fire Company (AVFC), in partnership with Hanover Fire-EMS, enjoys spending time in the community. AVFC regularly supports various groups including local schools, churches, and community organizations. The company also participates in annual events such as Ashland Train Day, Light Up the Tracks, Santa Runs, The Strawberry Faire, and others.
